Yolanda Hadid

In 2012, Yolanda was diagnosed with Lyme disease. It is a neurologically severe case. The time was when the doctor discovered evidence of an active infection that was present in her brain.

Since then the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills former member has gone through numerous procedures to alleviate Lyme symptoms like fatigue, brain fog and migraines. She was so debilitated by her symptoms that she even considered suicide.

Hadid revealed her long and difficult health journey in her 2017 memoir, Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease. In the past the reality television star revealed that she suffered a "Lyme relapse" following the passing of her mother in 2021.

Following the loss of my mother, I was struggling with depression. Then I had a relapse of lyme .... The grief and emotional stress caused a significant impact on the immune system. "[I'mtrying to be] more focused on my health journey, and being at this point in my life."
